FlowPulse CVD Audio

Hear Aggressive Buyers & Sellers Without Constant Noise

FlowPulse is an adaptive audio layer built for futures traders. It stays mostly quiet, then triggers only when CVD pressure reaches statistically aggressive levels — so when it fires, you immediately know something meaningful is happening.

Adaptive Thresholds Calibrates to current market tempo
Quiet by Default Silent cooldown between alerts
Volume-Weighted Loud prints score higher than thin noise
Playback Compatible Works in all three practice streams

Three Steps to Hear the Market

FlowPulse runs automatically once enabled — there's no chart to monitor or threshold to tune by hand.

1

Enable & Configure

Turn on FlowPulse from the portal chart header. Pick a sound profile (Standard, Subtle, or Crisp) and set your volume. Done.

2

Trade Your Plan

Focus on price action and your levels. FlowPulse watches CVD in the background, scoring delta impulse, volume, and structure alignment continuously.

3

Hear the Signal

When aggressive buyer or seller pressure crosses the adaptive threshold, you hear it instantly — a higher-pitched tick for buyers, lower for sellers. More ticks in the burst means stronger conviction.

How FlowPulse Decides When to Trigger

FlowPulse does not fire on every CVD change. It combines robust delta scoring, volume impulse, structure alignment, and repeat-direction lockout to prioritize quality events.

01

Adaptive CVD Delta Thresholds

Compares current CVD delta against rolling historical behavior (median/MAD and quantiles) so sensitivity adapts to market tempo automatically.

02

Volume Impulse Weighting

Scores events higher when directional CVD is backed by unusual volume instead of thin or noisy prints.

03

Structure + Trend Alignment

Boosts conviction when buyer/seller pressure aligns with CVD structure markers and short-term trend slope.

04

Quiet-by-Default Cooldown

Uses repeat lockout to suppress low-value same-direction spam so bursts of alerts remain meaningful.

Not Just Another CVD Alert

Most audio alerts fire constantly or use a fixed static threshold. FlowPulse is purpose-built to stay quiet until aggressive pressure actually occurs.

Generic CVD Audio Alert
  • Fixed threshold — fires the same at 9:31am and 3pm
  • No volume weighting — thin noise triggers as easily as real pressure
  • Fires repeatedly in the same direction — alert fatigue quickly sets in
  • No trend alignment check — noisy counter-trend signals mixed in
  • Usually not available in paper trading / playback
TradingPlace FlowPulse
  • Adaptive threshold — calibrates to rolling historical CVD behavior
  • Volume impulse weighting — loud prints get higher conviction scores
  • Repeat-direction lockout — prevents the same signal from spamming
  • Trend alignment boost — pressure with-trend scores higher than counter-trend
  • Full playback integration — same audio in all three practice streams

Everything in FlowPulse

Every component of the detection engine works together. No separate tuning required.

Adaptive Thresholds

Rolling median/MAD calibration means the sensitivity automatically scales with the speed of the current market — no manual tuning.

Volume Impulse Scoring

Events are rated by the volume behind them — high-volume directional pressure scores much higher than the same delta on thin prints.

Repeat-Direction Lockout

A cooldown window prevents repeated signals in the same direction so you're not inundated when markets push steadily in one direction.

Trend Alignment

Pressure in the direction of the short-term CVD trend gets a conviction boost, separating meaningful continuation from counter-trend noise.

Playback Integration

FlowPulse is explicitly enabled on the playback chart and works across all three streams — Open, Open 4x, and Competition mode.

3 Sound Profiles

Choose from Standard (triangle/square waves), Subtle (soft sine waves), or Crisp (sharp sawtooth). Preview all three before going live.

Live and Playback Handling

FlowPulse behaves differently in live and playback contexts — on purpose.

Live Mode

Live

Live FlowPulse follows the shared user-menu toggle in Portal/Admin. If live FlowPulse is muted there, the chart stays silent in live mode.

Playback Mode

Practice

Playback ignores the live menu toggle. You explicitly enable FlowPulse on the playback chart when practicing historical sessions — the live and playback controls are independent.

FlowPulse In Platform

Controls stay compact in the chart header — accessible without interrupting your workflow.

Buyers trigger a higher-pitched tick (~1000 Hz), sellers a lower one (~500 Hz). Strength is encoded by burst count at a fixed cadence: 2 ticks for minor, 3 for major, and 5 for extreme. Click any button to hear it.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before enabling FlowPulse.

CVD (Cumulative Volume Delta) tracks the net difference between buying and selling volume over time. A spike in CVD delta means an aggressive imbalance just occurred — more buyers lifting offers, or more sellers hitting bids — in a compressed window. FlowPulse specifically watches for when these imbalances are statistically aggressive relative to recent history, not just large in absolute terms.
Watching a CVD chart requires constant visual attention on a second data stream. FlowPulse offloads that attention to your ears — you stay focused on price action, levels, and your plan. The audio fires only when the pressure is statistically meaningful, which is a judgment call that's easy to miss when you're also watching entries and managing risk.
No — and this is the core design goal. FlowPulse uses a repeat-direction lockout cooldown that prevents the same signal from repeating after a recent trigger in that direction. Combined with adaptive thresholds that scale with market tempo, the result is that FlowPulse stays mostly quiet even during busy sessions and only fires on events that stand out above current noise.
Yes. FlowPulse is explicitly supported in the playback chart and works across all three streams (Open, Open 4x, Competition). The playback toggle is independent of the live mode toggle — you enable it directly on the playback chart. This means you can build your audio awareness during reps so it's second nature by the time you're live.
FlowPulse uses short geiger-style ticks. Buyers produce a higher-pitched tick around 1000 Hz; sellers produce a lower one around 500 Hz. Signal strength is encoded in burst count at a fixed cadence: two ticks for minor events, three for major, and five for extreme. The pattern is unambiguous: you instantly know direction from pitch and conviction from the burst count. Use the Audio Demo above to hear each combination before going live.
FlowPulse is included with Silver and Gold plans. It is not available on Crystal or Bronze. Silver also includes multi-account scaling and playback practice access, so it's the natural starting point if FlowPulse is the feature you're after.

Start Hearing the Market Differently

FlowPulse is included with Silver and Gold — no add-ons, no separate purchase. Enable it in the chart header, pick a profile, and it runs in the background while you trade your plan.

Works in live mode and all three playback practice streams.
